Sara Scott’s work in archaeology includes field studies and publications on rock art, ancient trails, tipi rings, wickiups, and chipped stone tool production strategies. Her doctoral research at the University of Montana analyzed the Pictograph Cave site near Billings. Publications by Scott appear in Plains Anthropologist, The Journal of California and Great Basin Research, and the International Journal of Historical Archaeology.
