CONTRIBUTOR BIO Karen Stevenson was born and raised on a wheat farm in northern Montana, and now lives in Miles City. A former one-room school teacher, Stevenson is the author of the book Elsie Fox: Portrait of an Activist and a forthcoming essay in the North Dakota Quarterly. She also portrays Evelyn Cameron, frontier photographer, in a one-woman show and was the silhouette actress in the MT/PBS documentary, Evelyn Cameron: Pictures from a Worthy Life. |
