The majority of Reflection West's recorded segments derive from invitations extended by members of the production team and the advisory board.

We invite writers, scholars, students, and, in general, people who have deeply considered how culture identity in the West was formed, and how it has generated and engendered continued thought over the last century.

We will also consider submissions from the public. Please download and carefully read the Submission Guidelines (PDF) before submitting. Also listen to a few of the segments to get a sense of the program.

Submission Process: Be sure to include your contact info, preferably an email address. We'll contact you immediately to let you know the submission was received and when the next selection board will be.

If we select your Reflection, we'll be in touch regarding the copyediting process, permissions, and approximate airing date.
